2008 Audi RS4 Ceramic Pro Silver Package

Thank you Ben for bringing us his wonderful Audi RS4. You don’t really see many Audi RS4’s on the streets since it’s a super rare car in the US market. The V8 engine just sounds amazing when you start the car and also the street-track prepped set up is just amazing.

Ben did the prep work himself and just wanted us to apply the Ceramic Pro coating on the car. He already brought us his Advan TCIII wheels a couple of months before to see how well the coating can hold up under the extreme condition.

When we received the car we preformed the wash and then preped the surface to apply the Ceramic Pro 9H coating. Few areas were untouched as Ben got some plans for those area so don’t mind the areas that are not detailed / cleaned yet.

Ben just did the first wash for himself and his comment are really funny. “You made my car harder to wash with the foam lance now as the foam won’t stick on the paint anymore. However, the dirt is soooo much easier to pressure wash off now so the water beading is just amazing. Awesome!”

Ceramic Pro 9H –

Ceramic Pro 9H is a permanent nano-ceramic protective paint coating. 2015 Scion FRS Release Series 1.0 Suntek Clear Bra + Opti Coat Pro OCP Service

Thank you Mikaal for bringing us the 2015 Scion FRS Release Series 1.0 limited edition for the protection combo service. Mikaal knew the ultimate solution to protect the paint from rock chips is paint protection film (a.k.a. clear bra). To enhance the paint protection further on his limited edition FRS, Mikaal wanted the Opti Coat Pro OCP service. Suntek premium paint protection film offers clear opacity and scratch resistance self-healing properties. With the addition of Opti Coat Pro coating (full car coating service), not only will it block UV, it also protects acids and chemicals on the paint & paint protection film’s surface.

Mikaal spent extensive time researching and compared different detail shops. He finally decided to come to our shop for the service. The car had only 500 miles when it arrived at the shop. Although it was new from the dealership, there were many swirl marks and imperfection (see pictures shown above). We performed the polishing with Optimum primer prior applying the Opti Coat Pro OCP service. We removed the majority of the paint imperfection with Optimum polishing and primer. The “YUZU” yellow color glows bright just like the one in commercial.

2015 Mercedes Benz GL450 Stage 1 Paint Correction and Ceramic Pro Silver Service

Thank you Harpreet for bringing in his 2015 Mercedes Benz GL450 to the shop and let us work on his car. He found a couple of different options online such as different coating, clear bra options and at the end he made the choice of Ceramic Pro after multiples emails and he even visited other shop to get more information about the paint protection.

The car has about 2000 miles and had been through a couple long distance trips so the car was a little dirty but we did our best to clean it up.

Unfortunately after the wash and removing all the dealership installed glaze / sealant / factory protection. The paint condition wasn’t as great as he mentioned. A lot of customers think if their vehicle looks clean its good enough, but if your looking for perfection that requires paint correction especially on a vehicle with so many miles already and endless cheap carwashes. We knew the car would need additional time to get it corrected. We performed multiple passes to get the most out of the blemishes our with the Rupes Yellow / Sonax 4/6 Polishing Compound. It took us almost 20+ hours just to polish this big car to a  decent condition.  We offered this to the customer as a complimentary add on as we want our customer to be happy when they pick up the car. Even though he was happy with what his car looked like before we decided to do a little more because even though the customer thinks its “perfect” we still don’t feel good letting the car go in the condition it was.

Note: When a customer brings in a car its hard to tell the actual condition of the car unless they want to wait around until we remove all the fillers and sealants left from the factory or car washes to hide the blemishes. There is also such things as black sealant to hide blemishes on black paints because its so much easier to tell scratches on black vehicles.

We are glad the paint was restored to a much better condition and the car look so much better after, but there are a lot of wear and tear on the vehicle. Best thing to do in the future is get your car protected as soon as possible to avoid costly work done to the vehicle. Vehicle came in with over 2000 miles that’s almost the first oil change being exposed to the elements and especially on such a big black colored vehicle. Black vehicles are the most prone to damage because of the fact that its black and everything shows up on black, the black absorbs the most light causing the most damage to the paint.

2004 Honda S2000 Stage 1 Paint Correction & Ceramic Pro Bronze Package Paint Protection Coating

Thank you Alex for bringing in his Honda S2000 to the shop. He originally brought the car in just for headlight / taillight restoration back in the summer time but ended up he deciding to restore the car before his Birthday. We also own an S2000 so it’s good to see someone elses S2000 looking clean as well.

It’s a 10 years old car so we expected the paint to require some major paint correction. Glad we have done so many S2000’s in the past and we know the right combination to get the paint imperfections removed. We only performed a Stage 1 Correction but end up we had over 75% imperfection got taken care of with the Sonax 4/6 Polishing Compound, Rupes Yellow pads and the Rupes Duretto Polisher.

After the Paint correction we applied the Ceramic Pro Light to the car so Alex doesn’t have to worry about as much of his car as he parks the car outside most of the time.

2015 BMW M3 Opti Coat Pro over Xpel Ultimate PPF Bay Area Opti Coat Pro OCP Installer

Thank you Ying for bringing us the Brand New 2015 BMW M3 to us for the Opti Coat Pro Service. The add on / upgrades of the car really made us exited about how well this car can be driven on the road / track.

This BMW M3 had Clear Bra done someone else before coming in for the Opti Coat Service so the car isn’t in any bad shape. Just make sure the film is properly clean and prep for the coating. We performed paint correction of the Carbon Roof and the customer took it to get clear bra afterwards.

We also Opti Coat Pro the Wheel and Calipers. Customer said he doesn’t want to remove the wheel in order to do it but glad the wheel spoke are so separated out so my small hands can get inside to the wheels and the brake caliper.

It is recommended to have the car paint polished or even corrected before applying Clear Bra / PPF as any imperfection will be sealed under PPF even the PPF has the masking effect to hide the swirls marks / minor scratches. It’s okay if the whole car is protected by clear bra / PPF but if you are doing the half front / full front PPF, why not get the rest of the car corrected / protected at the same time?

Also we offered Protection Coating to apply on any Clear Bra / PPF in the market. Bring your car that has installed clear bra / PPF to us to apply the protection coating to your expensive investment.
